Veteran’s Day Historic House Tours
In honor of Veterans Day, Blackacre invites veterans and our community to spend an afternoon stepping into Kentucky history.
Join us for a captivating journey through time at Blackacre Historic Homestead, constructed in 1792. Embark on a tour of the 1844 Presley Tyler House and delve into its rich history, intimately intertwined with the American Revolutionary War and the genesis of pioneer settlement. Our knowledgeable docents, adorned in authentic period attire, will expertly guide you through this immersive experience.
Sunday, November 8 | 1:00-4:00 PM, tours begin every half hour.
As a small way of saying thank you for your service, veterans tour free.
Veterans’ spouses $5 | General admission $10 per person | Free for children ages 12 and under and members
Purchase tickets upon arrival at the house front entrance.
