Nature’s Palette: Children’s Art Workshop & Hike
Get ready for a memorable experience for your young artist! In this drop-off program, artist Molly Rhode will guide children on a nature hike through the preserve to observe fall’s beauty up close — noticing shape, texture, color, and seasonal change.
After the hike, children will gather for a hands-on art workshop where Molly will lead them in painting their own canvas inspired by Blackacre’s beloved Story Tree. This experience encourages creativity, confidence, and an appreciation for nature’s influence on art.
Ages: 6–11
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Cost: $30 per child
Registration required. Space is limited to keep the group small and creative-focused.
