Give For Good Louisville 24 Hour Give-A-Thon

September 12th is Give for Good, Louisville’s largest 24-hour give-a-thon for non-profits. Our goal is to raise $30,000 for a transit cargo van to deliver environmental and sustainability educational programs to at-risk children, the elderly, and mentally/physically challenged adults who cannot visit Blackacre.

This initiative will overcome transportation and geographic barriers that many of these places face. The vehicle will provide education, therapy, wellness, and community engagement activities with GOATS serving as instructors. Hands-on learning experiences will allow them to actively engage with the natural world and develop a deeper understanding of ecological concepts.

There will be challenges throughout the day that will unlock additional cash prizes ranging from $1,000 to $20,000. We are looking for businesses to partner with us on this ambitious goal. Give Susan Speece a call at 502-266-9802.
